9 reasons you should not get a job

Since l was young l never had a dream of working for someone. I still remember l started my first business at age 11 of selling ice lolo before l venture into other businesses. I employed 2 people my cousins: one was responsible for making the products & the other one was a sells lady. I was quiet successful for a 11 year old because l was not like other kids who cried to their parents to buy them toys & stuff because l could buy them on my own.. Here are 9 reasons why you should not work for someone relating to my experience…

1. You have to ask for permission

When l was working on attachment from 2015 - 2016 there was no freedom at work place like what I used to. You had to ask permission for everything, to take a short holiday, to go for lunch & to do other activities. Asking for permission actually sucks, maybe it sucks for me only but not for you.

2.You trade your time for money

Once your sell your soul into the system designed by government & employers volunteering for slavery you will not have much time my friend. I was talking to my business partner about how a retailer “OK ” treats their employees like slaves. They show up at work before 7am & leave the work place after 10pm thus slavery, exchanging your time for money. Once you get into system there is no much time to spend with family or doing what a freeman do.

   

3.    You have to hide our emotions

My boss on attachment hated me because l was not like other employees who put the smiley faces when the manager & boss was around & then start to complain once the employer exit the premise. Even if the company feeds you crap on lunch time you have to hide your emotions otherwise you get fired dear.

   4. Rushing your lunch

 I was fired at Edgars the same day l started working there . We were given like 15 minutes for breakfast & same for lunch. There was no time for interacting with employees because you will be rushing like you are in a rat race.

      5. You can make more money

The truth my friend is that you can never be rich by working for someone. The company will give you minimum wages so that you cannot quit the job. You just pay your bills & there is no financial freedom.

    6. Stop making others rich

Personally I don’t see a point of waking up early in the morning going to support someone else dream, making someone else rich while you are not rich. I believe you can only make others rich when you are personally rich. My question is why are you minding other people’s business instead of minding your own. According to bible verse 1 Thessalonians 4:11 [NLT] it says “Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.” The verse does say wake up every morning & start minding other people’s business with your hands.

   7. Follow your passion

I never saw anyone who works in government offices with a happy face. If you go to government offices whether at passport department or birth certificate department those guys they are not that gentle, you only hear them shouting harsh words with bored faces, because they are tired of being in system. Find a way to do what you love whilst getting paid for it. According to the scripture 1 Peter 4:10 it says “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another .” The verse does not say stop using your gifts & sign for slavery into the system.

 

8. Let go of stress

I know the working environment especially when you volunteer to be in system. There is so much stress & confusion. I remember when I was working  part time in Cape Town at this hotel when I wanted to study their business structure as a inside agent.That was a tough situation but thank God l learnt so much. The boss was giving deadlines, pressuring  to reach the specific target, threatened to be fired if you don’t reach the objective man it actually sucks!

9. You become your own master

Big risk comes with big rewards & entrepreneurship is the road to financial freedom & happiness as long you are doing it in line with your passion & talent. I enjoy being my own master than being a slave. Instead of complaining about unemployment rate & giving silly excuses to accept failure & poverty start your own business & become your master. Start small & go bigger. If you are still giving excuse about capital the real demon of poverty has not yet attack you…
