Background

Masimba is a EP written, produced & performed by a Zimbabwean recording artist GZ Worldchanger. It is a second studio music project following “Zvivindi” which was released in 2016. According to the rapper, he is releasing this project in order to support his upcoming album. “Masimba” can be translated to “Supernatural powers” referring to possession of controlling influence or not existing in nature. The name of the project was suggested by GZ due to what he has become. According to witnesses & sound engineers, the project was recorded in a matter of hours. GZ also stated that he produced the instruments in the middle of night because that’s the perfect time to connect with the spirit & feel inspired.
