Why are you still waiting for God?

lt was a sunny day in the afternoon & we were having a discussion about relationships & marriage with one of my entourage member. At that time, my associate was single & desperately looking for a girlfriend to marry.  Suddenly, a very beautiful girl who was wearing a short skirt which suits her as if she was born wearing it began to walk in front of us. The skirt clearly showed the shape of her hips while her right ass was exchanging movement with left ass. "Dude go & speak to that chick & get a number, you never know she might be the one." He replied with a famous quote Christians love to say, "I am still waiting to hear from God." 

The first time l heard that statement it sounded real & matured because l thought people who say that are very prayerful & patient to wait & hear from God. As time goes on, that statement began to lose its meaning because l noticed that it is frequently used by excutizers: people who love to give excuses in order to delay taking action.

lt seems like my associate has been praying for a long time for a girlfriend to come but when the potential wife appeared he started to avoid responsibility & forward it to God. That scenario it happened to a lot of people. They pray for something & when the prayer is finally answered they keep on waiting for the next thing whilst what is on front of them is what they are supposed to take.

Sometimes in life we keep on waiting for something to come whilst it’s already there. You were praying for a girlfriend or boyfriend but look the person is already there I wonder why you are still waiting for someone to come. You always see walking & pass by your crib but you don’t even bother to greet me. You were praying for a job & suddenly you see an advert on gumtree about the position you want but you didn’t take action & you continued praying to God for a job.

ln conclusion, stop waiting for God because God is waiting for you to act.
