Don’t think: Just do it!

lt was around 2am in the morning & l called my music manager & the record label to have a meeting at 8am. We met & then we had a discussion about the music project l had to start working on within 2 days which became "Zvivindi." There was no time to think too much all we had to do was to write a plan down & take calculative actions within 48 hours. We designed a financial budget, advertising budget & promotional strategies about the project.

Later on, same day we visited the sound engineer & made a proposal of recording 19 tracks in a period of 5 days & he had to master the tracks within a specific limited period. Everything was settled, we signed an agreement, made payments & we had to start recording the following day. That single action changed my life because l had spent two years procrastinating about recording an album or mixtape but a voice whispered in my ear: "Don’t think, just do it!"

What stop us from taking action which can lead us to live our dreams? Fear of failure & being trapped with thoughts like “what things don’t work out” & fear of success - what if l cannot handle too much success. ln my life time l had no option but to eliminate non doers because if you hang around with losers you end up being a loser. lf you hang around with 4 broke friends there is a guarantee that you will be the number 5.

lts easy to say than to do & people will believe what you do not what you say. The only thing that is stopping you from living your dreams: maybe you want to be an entrepreneur, model, record an album, marry someone - is ACTION. One of my favorite quote is "A journey of thousand miles start with a single step." Taking action doesn’t mean you have to start big at once, you can start small, doing a little & little steps everyday but the next day should be more productive than today & keep on increasing.
Having a strong desire & strong passion in whatever you are doing can make work easier & enjoyable because nothing is as easy as it looks.

lt is useful to write down 10 reasons of why are doing what you doing & another 10 negative consequences of what will happen if you don’t do what you want to do because other people they take action because of positive motivation & other take action because of negative motivation. l was given a reputation of being a workaholic by my friends & family but they don’t know that my motivation comes from knowing what l want in life.

l only sleep 2 hours a day because it’s not about quantity of sleep but it’s all about the quality of sleep. Every day l wake up at 4 am because l have a granny, sister, family members that are counting on me. l do what l do because there are thousands of people who visit this page & my blog every day so that l can give them a shot for the week.

What is the effect of not taking action? lts failure! Failure to say l am sorry, failure to wake up every morning on time, failure to show up at work on time, failure to make a phone call, failure to say l love you, failure to save money every month & invest, failure to pray every day & failure to exercise your mind & body.

ln conclusion, imagine how you will make your mother, father, family members & friends proud if you take that action. lmagine how many people you will change lives by employing them if you start that business. lmagine how many people you will change lives if you take action towards the direction of your dreams. Know what you want in life & don’t think but just do it! Why? Because the world will only respond to your voice & action! William Shakespeare is dead, Apostle Paul is dead, Moses is dead & l am the new guy who is taking people to the Promised Land!
