Life as a business Part 1

After commencing one of my businesses which is growing very fast, l noticed that there is relationship between life & business. Life is like a business & you are the CEO running your company. The reason why people start a business is because of making profit. Same here, the reason you are alive is because God wants you to make profit. Normally a business has 4 departments: production, finance, marketing & Hr department. Same with life, you have four departments, relationship, career, finance & health. Let me summarize this concept:

Production Department [Career]

Production department is responsible for producing products which are then sold to make profit. When we relate this concept to production department which is your career: What are talents, gifts & skills you possess naturally? Those are products you are supposed to be producing & selling. This article you are reading is my product & l am selling inspiration. Are you a fashion designer, poet, hairstylist? Use your gifts to make money. Also take care of your health by exercising so that you can feel better & energized to produce efficiently.

Marketing Department

In order for business to make money & profit it has to advertise, promote & market its products to people so that they know what the company is all about & where to get the products. From my personal experience, l know a lot of talented people who are not known or discovered because they don’t know how to promote themself shameless. Even on your Facebook account or page, twitter account, instragram account & other social media accounts, I should know who you are & what you do by just visiting your account. How are you marketing your skills & talents? Don’t be afraid to tell people who you are & what you do. Be known!

Finance Department

For a company to make money efficiently & it must have a finance department. lf you don’t learn financial skills like, investing & saving money you might be on financial risk. Sell your ideas, gifts & talents to make money. Nothing is familiar in life like talented broke people because they don’t know how to use their skills & gifts to make money.

Hr Department

As a CEO of your company which is your name, how are you hiring people to become your girlfriend, boyfriend, business partner & friends? One of my favorite quotes is "when you hang around with four broke people you will become number 5." Hang around with people you want to be like. lts always good to be alone rather than being surrounded by negative people. Choose your wife, husband, and friends carefully & fire useless people who are not playing their roles.

ln conclusion life is all about balance. Try to balance all departments of your company & watch it become successful.
