Life as a movie [Part 3]

Last week l managed to volunteer as an extra on this upcoming movie which was being shot in Cape Town. When l was observing what goes behind the scene until the movie is done l was amazed. l can relate the familiarity between a movie & life. On this third series life as a movie, you are the writer, director & actor of your movie. Let me break the concept into this way:

Start with an idea & script

For a movie to take place, it all starts with an idea. You are the one who decide whether your movie [life] is going to be a horror, comedy, paranormal, romantic, inspirational or etc.  Once this idea [Life purpose] is clear, you write the script of how your movie [life] is going to start & ends. Use power of imagination to see your end. Thinking from end is the beginning of all miracles & there is no stopping of a man who is thinking from end.

Act

Once you figure out your life purpose [idea] & write the plan of how you are going to make that vision [movie] reality, the next stage is taking action. ln this movie you have created you have to invite people for auditions. Choose potential girlfriend, potential boyfriend, potential investors, potential business partners & other people for roles you want them to play. Spend time with them to see if they are suitable to play the role you want them to play. Don’t be afraid to fire useless people who don’t have any role to play in your movie.

Edit & Promote your movie

Once the production has taken place, you have to edit the movie & add effects. Study your mistakes & edit so that you cannot repeat them again. Once you are done with editing, the next step is to promote your movie: which is making your life an inspiration to those who are watching it. Help others to cross the bridges you have crossed before. Be a student & mentor to someone. Watch other people who have succeeded before you & don’t be afraid to ask for help.

ln conclusion, you have the power to decide whether your movie is going to have a happy or sad ending because it’s all up to you. You are the writer, director & actor.
