Poem : An empty seat
Genre : Love
Writer : GZ Worldchanger
l was sitting alone,
Fearlessly jotting down my thoughts,
But something grabbed my attention,
When the empty seat became occupied.
She sat like a queen,
Preparing to have a dinner,
As she pulled out a cigarette,
And grabbed it with her soft cherry lips.
l closely watched her fingers,
As she blow out the smoke,
And our eyes locked in together,
Before a passing by couple stole her attention.
The genre of her original hair,
ls what the black african girls,
Buy & put on their head,
ln order to look like her.
Her race is rare to find,
A mixture of black & white,
And with all my mind l bet,
She is not like other colored girls.
Seconds & minutes passed by,
While we mistakely exchanging eye contact.
lnitiating a conversation was unnecessary,
As l watch the seat becoming empty again...
