l was young,

And you were old,

When you told me it was right,

Although it felt wrong,

We did it with passion.

l was young,

And you had dreams,

You gave me everything l wanted,

And then you convinced me,

To follow your direction & live your life.

I grew up older,

And you were more older than me.

l discovered my dreams & purpose,

But you didnt like it,

You were scared l was going to leave you alone.

l was young,

And you were older,

When you told me that lm talented.

l remember few years ago like yesterday,

May your soul rest in peace,

And lm going to fulfill all of our promises,

We wrote at the edge of the river....
