The opposite must come!

Every morning when l wake up, l do positive affirmations combined with meditation. One of the phases l love to pronounce is “l am the light of the world” & "l am a positive thinker." There was a time in my life l was almost getting tired of fighting this fight of faith. l asked God why am l always surrounded by darkness & battle with negative energy every day.  The answer that l received shocked me even today! God replied, “My Son since you call yourself a light of the world, you have to be in darkness in order to know & experience yourself as the light.”

That sentence changed my entire life. I began to understand that in order to be, do or have the desires of my heart: the opposite must come. Sometimes in life we begin to panic when certain situations show up but we don’t know that we attracted or call those things into our life intentionally or unaware. It’s such a shame to call yourself love but when hatred or gossip shows up you are the first to react hatefully instead of demonstrate your loveliness. You should be careful of what you wish or how you define yourself in life because the opposite will come to challenge you.

Your thoughts & words should match your action & always be ready to face what comes with what you want. You don’t know that you are a giver or stingy unless you meet someone who is in need. You don’t know that you have, unless you encounter the have not. The opposite must come in order realize who you are.

In conclusion, if you define yourself as a kind person, cruelty must surround you in order for you to demonstrate your kindness. If you define yourself as a positive thinker, negativity should surround you in order to know, experience & understand that you are a positive thinker. Sometimes you don’t know that you are a tall person unless short people surround you.  It’s actually possible that you don’t know that you are rich unless poor people surround you. You can only realize that you are the light of the world when darkness surround you. Be ready to face the opposite that comes with your desires to be, do or have anything in life.
